Makai Poke Bar and Fishery

For thousands of years, Hawaii has always had a special connection to its waters and the abundance of life that comes from within it. Makai embodies this with its translation, “Towards the Sea.” The cuisine and atmosphere that it creates is central to the Hawaiian fishing culture of its ancestors. This is emphasized in its design by combining traditional fishing images, expressive watercolor and unique patterns of fish themselves.
